Today was pretty cool I met up with my friends Darlington, Darion, Frank, and Brandon.
We went to an asian food festival and I got some squid and it just tasted like tougher shrimp but it was still good none the less. ( just over priced )
On the way to the second place after I got my earrings my car battery died. I got a jump from a random man whose house we stopped in front of. And then my battery died again. Frank came in clutch with his own jump and saved me for the rest of the very very very short drive to the parking lot.
I had to get a tow.
In the tow truck we talked about what it means to live a happy life.
I went on a ramble about how my expression is at a crossroads and I’m just seeing how things aligned for me to be aware of how I need to take care of myself in more ways and how it’s all so like hilariously simple but also not, but I still can say I’m happy everyday.
But that got the driver to open up about how his family said he won’t be able to find happiness in his lifestyle. And how that made him carve out his own happiness through the work he does.
We talked about how being a tow truck driver really allows him to help people and support his own family. Even when people are down he becomes a necessity that people rely on and it made him happy to be able to help others.
We ended the conversation talking about how our expression of care was freeing.
anyways here are some pictures from tonight
